The Axion Story
Started in late 2014, Axion Swiss Watches is the concept of one man and a small team who share a passion for all things watches and especially fine mechanical timepieces and wanted to share their passion with others.
With established Swiss houses increasing their prices significantly over the last few years it became increasingly obvious that a fine automatic Swiss made watch was becoming unaffordable to the majority. We set out to make Axion the antidote to this problem.
Our first range was a quartz range which was well received but we always had vision of Axion being a fine mechanical watch brand. At the time the Swatch group were withholding mechanical movements to independents so we had no choice back then.
Sticking to our original core values meant we had to go and rethink the brand and somehow source automatic Swiss movements and we are delighted to have signed a deal to use ETA Valjoux 7750 and ETA 2824 movements in our new products.
We are very proud to therefore announce the Axion range which comprises the Chrono, Ocean and Racing Commanders using the Valjoux movement trusted by many Swiss brands.
The Chrono, Ocean and Racing Commanders are the embodiment of Precision, accuracy and timing.
